Timmy and Kat from Menlo Park stayed with us and had this to say about their experience:
“Dave and Lisa were absolutely the best hosts I’ve had on Airbnb! If you’re choosing between this and other places, CHOOSE THIS. You’re guaranteed to have an educational and relaxing getaway at their place. Plus talking with Dave and Lisa was just so much fun! They’re both super down to earth and caring people. We love them. As mentioned by other reviews, their breakfast was farm to table and freshly made in the morning. It’s what real food should taste like. My fiancee and I are both inspired to grow our own food now because of them (or at least buying from local farmers!) We definitely plan to return in the near future and have told our friends about Holyhill Hummingbird Farm (this place) already. BOOK NOW!!”
Kate from San Francisco said this about her stay with us:
“What a gem! Hummingbird Farm was the perfect spot to rest our heads for the night. Dave and Lisa were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Not only were they fantastic hosts but the property is magical! We really enjoyed the tour of the garden. They are very knowledgable and encouraging for anyone trying to cultivate a green thumb. Plus the chickens are just as cute as they can be! The farm to table breakfast was the cherry on top 🙂 Great location, comfortable bed, delicious food. I would recommend a stay at hummingbird farm to anyone! Thanks guys! “

“Dave and Lisa are the most charming and helpful hosts I’ve met through AirBnB! They are warm and so accommodating! They helped make our rescue dog, Greta, feel safe and welcome with their kindness and support. The space is better than advertised, as they are at the end of a cul-de-sac, the garden is full of delicious delectables and the neighborhood is quiet even though located near two freeways. They did everything they could to make our stay absolutely wonderful and the nice little touches of goodies (in our case, filtered water in reusable water bottles, lip moisturizers and trail bars) were a pleasant surprise. The space is conveniently located near old town and we enjoyed a Sunday Farmers’ Market just a few blocks away. The jasmine smell of summer wafted throughout our stay. We’ll definitely stay again when our travel is in the area!”
